The story of The Venue at 1010.

OUR STORY
A building with many chapters.
The building at 1010 Allen Street has been part of Owensboro's history for generations.
Its past includes time as a tobacco-processing warehouse, an educational space and other community and commercial uses.
Today, its historic character continues through a new chapter as The Venue at 1010.
A SPACE WITH PURPOSE
In memory of Issac Sterett.
The Venue at 1010 is owned by the Issac Sterett Adventure Foundation, established on July 15, 2020, in memory of Issac Sterett — an adventurous 10-year-old who loved hiking, biking, fishing, boating, archery, sports, camping and time outdoors with his family.
His love of nature and adventure inspired a mission centered on family values, unplugged connection and appreciation for the outdoors.
Today, the Foundation encourages children and families to step away from screens, spend meaningful time together and experience new adventures through outdoor recreation, educational programming and nonprofit partnerships.

THE CONNECTION
Purpose and partnership.
The Venue at 1010 is owned by the Issac Sterett Adventure Foundation and professionally managed by RMA Ventures LLC.
Revenue generated through the venue's operating partnership helps support the Foundation and its mission.
To allow the Foundation to stay focused on its mission, all venue inquiries, bookings, tours and event-related questions are handled directly by The Venue at 1010 management team.
